About the West Midlands
West Midlands regional infrastructure group
DWM (Destination West Midlands) works with RAWM (Regional Action West Midlands) and is the regional voice for infrastructure in the West Midlands. RAWM is the generic VCS network representing the sector at a strategic level on all issues related to the third sector.
DWM is made up of all the sub regional geographic infrastructure consortia in the West Midlands and also has representation from specialist infrastructure partners.
The Group aims to:
- support the provision of modern infrastructure support services in the region
- support infrastructure support services that increase the capacity of the sector
- respond collectively to policy
- share information and best practice
- collaborate regionally and seek opportunities to draw funds into the sector.
Sub regional consortia
The sub regional consortia have wide and varied memberships with differing structures. All are encouraged to engage with Capacitybuilders' Improving Reach grant holders, and to ensure there are effective communication channels with respective members.
