Third Sector apprenticeships consultation

2/23/2010

Back to list

Skills - Third Sector are writing a framework that sets down the skills and knowledge that apprentices in third sector organisations should learning during their training.

They are keen to ensure that the framework meets the needs of third sector employers, training providers and people who want to work for charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit-organisations. In particular, they are keen to hear from young people and the people who work with them.

The consultation runs until the 28 April 2010 and they would really appreciate your help to ensure that the views of your members and young people are captured. Please forward the link around your networks so that as many organisations as possible have the opportunity to feed into the consultation and the apprenticeships planning.

They are also running focus groups, young people's forums and a technical consultation with specialists and funders - updates and more information will be posted on the Skills - Third Sector website and sent out by email in the coming months.
